22 mag from WS

picked up a new gopher gun today a Savage 93 in 22wmr ,heavy stainless barrel with a brown thumbhole laminate stock at WS in Calgary.Gun guy behind the counter was A1 he went back into the back to serch for a different gun as I kept looking for the one I wanted.he was friendly courtious and very helpfull, so I sighted it in and started in on those pesky gophers yee haw!great fun

what kind of glass did you put on that new baby of yours?
I picked up a new CZ 22mag last fall and quite enjoy it. Bullet weight choice is something to consider and I have been feeding 30 g CCI's, which are very accurate and destructive on the pests. They are a little harder to find than the more traditional larger grain 40. Enjoy and let us know how she shoots...

I topped my CZ with a Diamondback from Vortex. Great quality at a decent price.

I have the same savage, with heavy barrel also, my only thought is, why o why didn't I have one of these years ago. Now I have to shoot twice as much to make up for lost enjoyment. - Slim
