Spotted this little device on the living room wall of a 1950’s house. Does anyone here know what it is?IMG_1278.jpg

Looks like a door opener for a secret passageway to the bat cave.

Trades I would interested in:
- Sightron rifle scopes, 4.5x14x42mm or 4x16x42mm
especially! with the HHR reticle. (no duplex pls.)
- older 6x fixed scopes with fine X or target dot.

Vintage elevator controler .
Once you select the floor , the arrow will flash if you are going up or down
Looks like there are 4 upper level floors and 2 lower level floors .
I'm surprised others do not remember these controls

I agree with what you said; but in his living room? It did pique my interest though....like what is on the other side of that wall; maybe a closet that reaches the attic?

Dib's it is a dumbwaiter control to raise and lower laundry, breakfast on a tray, you name it.

My grandparents had a similar control that moved the TV antenna when they wanted to switch channels. In those days I think there was only 2 channels. Lol.
