Default Plant identification.

Hello ladies and gents. Becoming curious about edible plants around Alberta lately with all the goings on. Anyone know what this is? It's a weed in the back yard.

Anyone know of good illustrated books on edible vegetation around Alberta?

Thanks.

I have found that the "Lone Pine" series of books re about the best. I am not sure if your plant is in there but they are good to have handy for many different topics.

https://www.lonepinemedia.com/

I have several and find that the info and illustrations are great

I'll check those out thanks.

In the process of tilling some of the lawn to plant vegetable gardens, seeing plants that I haven't noticed before. Been a long time since I grew anything, started it all in grow tents in the basement.

Yeah, that's not it. It's similar to dandelions in shape and size, just a rounder leaf. Can't find anything similar online. Weird.

I'm inclined to agree with her, I have something very similar in front of my house.
