Mitutoyo Calipers
Is there a good source for their digital callipers in Alberta or Canada? Thanks.

I can’t say it’s a “good” source but I got a 6” set from KMS Tools.

It's not a bargain brand.

I've bought a few Mitutoyo measuring instruments from Thomas Skinner in SE Calgary. Not sure if they ship though.

Amazon, and a decent price too. I'm sure they will do what you want and more.

I agree. Regularly on sale through KMS. Sort of wish I had sprung for the 8", when working with longer cartridges the extra 2" to hand on to would be nice.

Stay away from anyplace that is not an authorized dealer. Waayyyyy too many grey market Mitutoyo's out there.
I got mine from Kar in Edmonton a couple years back. Had a machinist friend order them for me because I got a bit of a deal ordering through him.
Anyplace on this list should be good to go - Canadian Dealers

My concern here would be counterfeit calipers from Amazon - as it seems they are constantly getting bad reviews from unscrupulous sellers using their service.
As many people know - close is not good enough in some applications - so maybe it's not as big of a deal for some people - but if you are asking for a premium brand like this, chances are you need superior reliability, accuracy, precisions and repeatability - otherwise you would have bought some cheaper brand at Princess Auto.

Fair point. Reading the reviews seems like a mix of fake and real? Easy enough to return, but still a pain. I've not run into fakes other then the Mexican Rolex market, but I'm sure it happens a lot. I guess stick to an authorized dealer.

We have used this business for over 20 years for Mitutoyo products. Not the most fancy place but always have it on the shelf when you need it.

From the list posted earlier, Amazon is authorized. You just have to make sure it being sold by Amazon and not someone in the "Amazon Marketplace".

Mitutoyo makes great calipers. I have a set of 12" dial ones I picked up at a jobsite auction 30 years ago. Nice wooden box and seldomly used but very nice!

I have one for sale. Used but checked and calibrated last year as I use to work for an ISO 9000 shop in Calgary.

I buy Mitutoyo tooling all the time from Thomas Skinner. They ship to my work place so I’d assume they would ship to a private residence.

I've bought several tools from Mitutoyo via Amazon, they are shipped and sold by Mitutoyo Canada in Ontario. Bought another Digimatic micrometer last week, all have met certification.

I bought my Mitutoyo dial caliper from Thos. Skinner & Sons in Vancouver, about 40 years ago.
You'll never regret buying quality Mitutoyo measuring instruments.

I ordered a set of Mitutoyo dial calipers from Gregg's, no more 'batteries dead so no calipers' to deal with.
