Rifle Range/Public Shooting Near Cochrane

Hi there, got the family a couple new guns for Christmas and was wondering where everybody is shooting. In previous years we always went to the public range on Homestead road but now that it is permanently closed not sure where everyone is going. If anybody has an idea where I could go to test out the new guns that would be great! Thanks a lot

you can shoot in the forestry up the Forestry Trunk Road NW of Cochrane but be careful of hikers and off road vehicles.
