What's the average going Price???

Hi everyone

I am looking for infomation about how much a Remington 700 30-06 bolt action rifle would go for used without the scope.

It has been kept in very excellent, well maintained condition for the last two years.

I am thinking out selling it soon.

I go by a rule of thumb for used as 60-70% of a new price for same make model (provided it isn't an antique or has sentimental value). Others may go by a higher or lower range (depends on condition of the rifle barrel too and amount it has been shot) but that is usually what I try to shoot for. Pardon the pun.

I think about $450-$550 is about the going rate, which I would happily pay for such a rifle in good condition. To much more than that and your getting pretty close to the price of a new Vanguard which I consider a good option.
