Default Sept. NAFA Sale

Anyone else have fur set to sell in the NAFA sale in Sept? New to shipping to NAFA and this Sept. sale seams to be out of the ordinary for them, can't find any history on there sales at this time of year. Really hope it wasn't a mistake to ship when we did.

I believe it is a " new " sale , first one is usually about Dec.? Be interesting to see what prices are after the drop in the May sale .. Good luck .

I have four beavers that didn't sell last time so I assume they will dump them for any price they can get. I guess it is better than them shipping them back to me.

By the time we finished up with spring rats it was past the last ship date for the May sale so we either shipped when we did (early May) or have to hold them for 8 months for the Feb sale. Not sure what everyone else does with they're spring rats but i really don't have the freezer room to hold them.
I think Furharvesters has a later sale (June) that we could have and maybe should have shipped to. We'll see what the prices are in Sept. really going to **** me off if its not what they are in the other sales.

I kept my Spring rats by skinning and freezing but I've been told that if you turn them in, NAFA they will store them for you until the auction that you want them sold on comes up. I'm thinking that next year I'll turn them in and have NAFA store them for me until a winter auction.

Is it wise doing that?
Freezer burn, power usage, gambling with a freezer failure.

Process them & ship to NAFA, let them do the storing.

They are already skined and dried. Did the same thing with about 50 from the previous year and had above average and nothing wrong with them.

Default Beavers

They still have around 30 of my beavers that are unsold from the February sale. Hopefully they go this sale. FHA has had no problem clearing out all of the beavers I sent them....and will now continue to send them. Hopefully NAFA clears them out this sale.
