Yeah.
Antler to head size... assuming that all we are seeing is the head... it seems more likely an elk than a MD even.

No way that puppy is WT.

I agree that there is a possibility that it is an elk. It is hard to tell if it is an elk or a mulie without a broadside picture of the head.

Thing is...I don't see any ears.

I suspect that what we thought was a picture of a head sticking out of a tall crops at a couple hundred yards is actually a whole body...head down at much further than that.
Seems to be some buckskin colouration in there to.

Maybe the OP can give us some info to use for scale?

Default Deer

It is a deer for certain, and it was running through the wheat - stopped to turn back and looking at me. just needed confirmation on it being a mule.
If anyone has a mule tag for 210 PM and i may have a helpful hint....

Are you sure that's a Deer? To me it kinda looks like a guy holding his arms up with a bush in each hand.

Kidding. I don't doubt it's a Deer and I would guess a Mule Deer like everyone else, but if I didn't know it was a Deer, I really would wonder if it were a man holding up two branches.
