Default Good Read about Phil Robertson

Pretty interesting read about the duck commander creator and duck dynasty star Phil Robertson.

I never did believe for a second that those people can be that successful and at the same time be as stunned as they come off on the show.

Let’s face it,” said Robertson, “the bar has been set pret-ty low for you to get on American television these days.

He's got that right.

Hey the rest of em came off like hicks from time to time but Phil always seemed to be very well read and to be quite thoughtful and philosophical in a woodsy sort of way.

I never thought for a minute that he was a dullard.

I always thought...there is a guy that has a story to tell and I'd love to buy him a beer and hear it.

Thanks for posting. That is a good read on Phil. Turned his passion into a really good living for his family. I thought I saw an episode where he was a preacher or pator in a church. Anything he does or did would not surprise me, seems to be an outstanding sort of fellow.

Im not surprised one bit that he has a degree, what suprised me is how good of a football player he was.
I agree the rest come off like hicks, but wonder how much they are just playing things up for the TV cameras.
