Default My Day on the Bow River

Im pretty new to the site.I just normally read posts but decided to make one.

I felt the need to get some fishing in today. So i went got my new license then head off to a spot i normally fish.I pulled in the parking lot. To find no one there but a bunch of shot gun shells, clay pigeons, ear plugs, beer cans, and much more.....So i got annoyed and hadnt started fishing yet.

I fished for a few hrs at that spot. Caught one lost one. I decided to clean up after these A holes well i eat my lunch.....I cleaned up to fill one bag that i had.(there are alot more there i would be there half a day to get all them). Then i moved on to a new spot hoping to get in a better mood. I lost another fish and landed 3 more. 3 rainbows and one brown total landed fish. Biggest being 19 inch rainbow and 17 inch brown. This put me in a better mood and was happy i went. A few pictures of my day. Sorry crappy cell phone camera and trying to be a photographer buy myself.....and no i didnt drag the fish into the rocks i was holding it there :-)

Here are some pictures and a few hooks i found on my trip.

Cheers

Dead coyote was at a differnt spot then where the shells were found.

Me cooling down buy the ice. It got pretty warm out.

I've always a few garbage bags in the truck as I continually run into the same issues with litter. Thank you very much for taking some time to do a little house cleaning!!! Very awesome!!! I hate running into that crap, it's a pain heading out to be in nature getting away and seeing that. Very nice fish, congrats!!

Thanks for doing some housecleaning. It seems no matter where or how far back you go in the backcountry for that matter, there is always garbage as people just don't seem to care anymore. Nice fish too!
