Crossfield Trout Pond - Work being done?

Whats all that work being done at the Crossfield pond about?

I also noticed SRD reports they did no stocking there in 2011.

When I drove there a few weeks ago the road in was closed and notices up about working on the water system.

Does that mean the stocked trout pond will be a trout pond no longer?

Anyone know the skinny on the future of that little fishing hole?

I cant see them closing it. its 1 of only 2 things to do in that town. call the town office i bet theyre expanding it.

The ponds are located at a low point in the road. Last year the road condition getting there from town was pretty bad due to the monstrous mud puddles. Probably doing some preventative maintenance but doubt they'll destroy the pond. They definitely stocked it last year.

The work there should be done by the end of may they didn't say directly but I think that the pond will be stocked again this year. She said ask again mid may and she will know a little more

Stocked with 1400 28 cm trout in May last year. That stocking map link is not updated.
