Pigeon mid lake Saturday
14 year old son got his learners and wants to learn to drive. Took him to the middle of Pigeon to teach driving a standard, no one around for miles, and flat. Driving was a hit, fishing not so much. Mid day, spent about 1 hour in 30 FOW. 2 missed hits, lost one big white at the hole on a saw off. Hard time getting his head in and he was thrashing around alot. About 5 pd range. Using a thumper in chartreause. Usually better in the AM off of a structure, but had to try it. Can't drive on hard water and not at least cut a few holes.
