Default Pozzys bait shop closed

I heard that Pozzys in Nisku is closed.Another small business shut down is never good.I supported him and he always was interested in what products i thought he should stock.Im sure he got bored listening to my fish storys as well.It was a tough market but im glad he was there for the time i needed minnows and non box store jigs.

Default Crappy to hear.

It’s sad but unfortunately I could predict it.
The guy is a great guy but the only way to make a living at outdoors stuff like that is online. It is such a small demographic and running costs are so high unless you’ve been established for years with a great clientele and good inventory it will never fly these days.

It's to bad but I think his location didn't help the situation either. I get it you gotta start somewhere but let's be honest it was strange area to have a bait shop !!

My understanding was that the business was doing well. He lost his primary job which allowed him to hang at the shop all day (I assume a night shift job?). His new primary job would not allow him the same opportunities. This is only what I heard, not direct from him.

This seemed to me the biggest issue. Like you said, everyone has to start somewhere, but I feel that somewhere needs to be in a better location and with a bit more stock.

I imagine location had a lot to do with rent and travel time to work.
