Season 2 (Ice fishing) comes out in Nov.

Aaron is entertaining but to travel that far on land and still travel so far across the lake was a bit much.Both of those guys could have went to Manitoba and had just as good fishing with 1/8 the headache.Getting tired of seeing his dog now also.The outpost was great.

So you like watching them fish the same place over and over and over again? One reason I dont watch as many Clayton Schick videos anymore is because its the same walleye, pike and lake trout spots every time. Mix in something different for once lol.

So many things I disagree with in this post. First off he couldn't have gone to Manitoba. He filmed that at the end of April. I was at Athapap at the beginning of April and it was a **** show...we unloaded our sleds onto grass, the guide was literally scared about trying to get to the big lake, and the fishing was poor. And it was poor at Clearwater and Reed as well from what I heard.

Secondly, you're missing the point of a trip like that...the adventure. Organizing and making the trip in with friends are where the memories are created. I've been on many big trips (Bakers Narrows - 15+ hours; Bistcho - 12+ hours; northern Sask - 10+ hours just last season). I only vaguely remember the 30+" walleye or 40+" lakers I've caught on them. But I remember the trips themselves and time spent with friends vividly.

Lastly about the dog. I fished most of the season alone on lakes 4+ hours from home last year. It's lonely a lot of the time. I'm planning to get a dog (even considering a PWD like Aaron's) for the same reason. And I mean really, it's not like he's fawning over the dog the whole time in his videos.

Yeah his home base has him fishing locally which is pike, eyes and stocked trout. Has to travel 6hrs ish to change it up.

Everything AGP has said plus this was/is a bucket list trip. You really cannot compare Manitoba to NWT. GSL is looking to be a pretty special place. Find me a lake that like that in MB with towering cliffs like GSL. Not to mention drop and catch big average lakers...plus Inconnu potential...plus...could go on here.

I watch CSO for the great learning advice he gives on lakes the average person can fish. This guy has worked his butt off and knows the fishing industry. I’m sure he is limited to how far he travels with time and family restraints unlike Uncut. Uncut is watched for shock value a lot of the time. He went against proper safe ice technique and it nearly cost him. Funny how he fell off the radar after that. I would rather watch Clayton any day. Each his own. If it’s wild adventure your looking for Uncut is there

Ya I get that. I know clayton quite well, use to guide together both fish and waterfowl. He has a few options that arent that far from him such as bass at boundary, devils lake and even fort peck isnt crazy far. Him and I have been trying to make a Lower kananaskis trip work and also take him down to Cascade with us but so far our schedules havent lined up. This winter is looking promising though.
