What's good bait for trout

F4 Rapella in rainbow trout or brown trout color, slow troll or cast....shhhh its top secret.

The F3 I believe is 1.5 inches long and the F4 slightly longer. Pinch the barbs and remove the belly treble just so if you’re releasing trout it’s easier on them. We catch 4 inch bows all the way up to 20 inchers on them. Have used them on cutties, browns etc as trout like to eat their own and these little lures are hot, slow troll/retrieve they go down 2-4 feet depending on speed and for whatever reason turns on the trout to bite.

we were trying spinners with power bait and it has worked well I caught a few. do you fish do you fish carson pegasus? If so i hope there are fish there.

The brighter the flash the better, they will hit it as it drops in the water before you start to retrieve, manke sure that the bail is closed as soon as the lure hits the water!

Willow leafs or Ford fenders with dew worm on a wedding band work great.

Have done great in some lakes with F7 or CD5 rainbow or muddler plugs as well.

The big trout will slam the f11 plugs anyday and keep the pesky small ones off.

Power bait and a white small marshmallow, keep the hook about a meter off the bottom if you are fishing from the shore..
