That trip was hard on gear. No more unloading onto grass for me. lol.

I got duped by the weatherman today. Booked a hotel last week to fish this weekend then backed out with the wind yesterday. Now it's calm out. Oh well. Hopefully one more trip this year.

The weather here has been all over the map, I gave up looking ahead, just get up and go from there but when your trying to make a trip of it what a pain in the butt.

At 54North I told them of what took place up at Athapap, 15 degrees out come mid day, 6 inches of water/slush on the surface, open water around islands, all trails turned to mud and then crossing the train track up a steep bank and toss in your evil knieval tree climbing hell ya parts needed replacing

Hindsight should have brought quads

Ohh well always an adventure and now ready to hit the hard water season with high hopes
