All good and fine, as long as the trickle down happens from the businesses to the consumers as well.

My oh my, what will the lieberals do…

This thing’s coming unraveled faster than I thought. Will be VERY interesting to see what they do.

Their ship is sinking.

I can see it now, an exemption for every riding with a liberal MP, and double the carbon tax ,if the riding has a conservative MP.

I think it should be opposite tax heating oil more as there are more emissions than natural gas and you would see a pipeline built to Ontarion post haste.

Businesses should refuse to submit any taxes they collect on governments behalf if government is working against their interests,

GST,
Income Tax,
Carbon Tax,
Excise Tax,
duties,

Our prime mister can break laws and prevent investigations into corruption.

He will just go into more of a deficit to get votes. But Alberta money staying in Alberta would be a great start.

Haha, you hope it’s only 2X. They know it’s over and you can smell the desperation. They’ll bring in Mark Carney as their next pawn after trudud and get him to axe it. Same circus. Remember, all the federal lieberals support this unequally applied tax. I still don’t know how they thought this moronic blunder was a good idea. They’re already eating their own:

So much for a “Climate Emergency” eh?

There's a few issues with the audio and video in some parts of the interview.

The good part starts at about 4:40.
Trigger alert!!! People with high blood pressure or heart health issues should stop watching before the 5:29 mark.

Everyone knows it's true, but I can't believe she said that.

I'm sure they'll sue the government and get a few billion out of it.

Going out on a limb, but I figure the tax is axed (for heating) by X-Mas. There’s no way this is going to keep slithering by for the next few years. Credit to Moe for having the fortitude to get the ball rolling.

Too bad Moe isn't our premier, a practical guy without the air headdedness of ours. I suspect Turdeau is willing to die on the hill over this issue, might kill his relationship with the NDP. Early election coming ?

My post wasn’t a slight against Danielle, it’s a different situation in Alberta (private vs crown corp). Heck, you know this is bad when even the dippers agree. Hell had a better chance of freezing over. She’s going to do everything in her power to join Moe. Federally, the NDP will cave like the lapdogs they are. I believe you’re correct on trudud though. Don’t be fooled, there’s already a replacement in waiting (Mark Carney), who will try to save what’s left of the lieberal support. The smartest thing they could do for their party & the country is to walk back the tax altogether. Not likely as they’re, well … you can fill in the blank, I’ve run out of adjectives.

That may very well have been their plan all along.

I'd much rather see our govenrments refuse the carbon tax on fuel first.

Vehicle fuel is just as much of a necessity as fuel for your furnace.

But if you take that 'logical route' where isn't it a necessity? Food production isn't a necessity? Transportation of goods isn't a necessity? The only necessity seems to be votes for the Liberal party.

I agree wholeheartedly. When you live rural in a sparsely populated area of the province, you have to drive a lot. I’d also like to see a suspension of our provincial gas tax and a reduction of pst in many areas. But unfortunately most people here seem to give Moe a free pass on making our lives more expensive because he’s mastered the art of screaming loud at Trudeau.

it's an interesting fact - looking at both the CPP question and the Carbon Tax issue, that the Clown Prince has done more to sow discord within the Canadian federation than any previous Prime Minister, or at least than any Prime Minister who wasn't called Trudeau

And when has the ndp dropped the provincial gas tax, or reduced the pst? Which party introduced the pst in Saskatchewan? The ndp actually introduced a provincial carbon tax in some provinces, and they are supporting the federal carbon tax

2nd largest land mass, some of the coldest weather recorded in the world, but hey, let’s tax and penalize people for what is essentially surviving.
