i ordered two rad bikes late last fall. their advertising said they had mobile units available for warranty repairs and to assist with problems (adjustments, etc) related to the bikes. when i contacted them about their after purchase support, they said they hadn't had the mobile service for about a year....their ads said they still had it. also, when i called the canadian number for support, it was answered somewhere in the u.s. by a guy, i swear, who had never seen a bicycle in his life.
last week the display quit working, so i've been trying to get them to honour their warranty....it took a few emails, and at least to me it appeared they were searching for a reason to deny me, but on friday, i got a message saying they would replace it.
these bikes, at least so far, seem to be wonderful, so i'm hoping they don't develop any more problems. i think if i had it to do over, i'd go to a bike shop and buy one there. at least then you'd be able to take it back for service. we bought our son one in victoria, bc and the bike shop there has been outstanding......free adjustments for a year (as many as you need) is worth it if you don't need anything else.

sure glad to hear you are happy with your rad bikes after three years,,,,,bodes well for ours.
i neglected to comment on their shipping policies. though they tell you they'll include free shipping, that is not the case, depending on where you live. i gave them my small town address and they said they wouldn't ship it to me. we ended up having them shipped to the sister in laws place in lethbridge and driving 50 miles to pick them up. not the end of the world, but their free shipping comes with caveats.

I am okay with this so long as they tell you before the order is done... If they ship it and you find out after the fact you are on the hook for a higher bill then I would be choked.
As a company who has shipped many heavy and oversized items I get it. There are crazy expensive additional handling charges that come from rural addresses. The shipper gets absolutely hammered by the couriers with this stuff. We just got a bill from a courier for sending 4 tires to a guy. The shipping was coming up as $265.00 so we quoted $320.00 to be safe as we figured that would cover any overage... Final cost when we got the bill? $539.xx!! Lost more on the shipping than we made on the tires. It is why I avoid it at all costs these days. Just did this one because "a friend of a friend" kind of thing and it bit us in the butt.

I ordered a Rad Rover ebike last spring and had it delivered right to my door no charge and on time. My Brother and his wife in Ontario have had them for at least 5 years and he is very happy with his as well.
