ACTION SHOOTING LEAGUE
BTSA’s Action Shooting League (ASL) gives shooters an opportunity to practice the fundamentals of competitive Action Shooting. (IPSC, USPSA, 3 GUN)
On Thursday evenings and select weekends, participants practice shooting challenging and exciting courses of fire.
Results are scored in PractiScore following rules and regulations based on our affiliate shooting disciplines. This gives participants a taste of action shooting without the stress of an actual competition.
The ASL is open to both BTSA members and the general public.
Weather permitting, between early spring until late fall, we will shoot from 5:00pm until sunset using specialized action shooting props.
For more information, join our Facebook group (BTSA Action Shooting League) or on PractiScore (Buffalo Target Shooters Association)

STEEL CHALLENGE
It's often called "Drag Racing with a Handgun"! BTSA has Steel Challenge matches which are fun for young and old. These matches have a round count of approximately 250 rounds. A .22LR rimfire handgun or rifle, or center-fire handgun or pistol calibre carbine are used. Rimfire handguns and rifles, and Pistol Calibre Carbines are shot from a low ready position, so no special skills are required. Center-fire handguns are drawn from a holster. Be sure to bring at least 5 magazines or loaders. Steel matches are usually 8 stages, they consist of metal targets (never more than 5 in one stage) at distances of 7 to 35 yards. Most of the targets are either 10” or 12″ round or 18 x 24″ rectangles.

Rimfire Rifle League
BTSA Rimfire Rifle League is a weekend and Tuesday Night .22LR shooting league that is open to anyone 12yrs of age or older.
From September to June on a Saturday or Sunday, and July and August on Tuesday nights, the league will run challenges and mini-matches consisting at shooting at fun, challenging paper targets, and challenging small steel targets, at distances from 25 yds to 100 yds. Come out and learn something, hone your marksmanship skills, and prove to everyone that you really can hit that fly at 100 yds with your .22LR rifle.
Any .22LR rifle will do. Optics or iron-sighted.
For more information, join our Facebook group (BTSA Rimfire Rifle League & ORPS) or email Dale at rimfirerifle@btsa.ca

Outlaw Precision Rifle Series

BTSA Outlaw Rimfire Precision Series (ORPS) is a monthly .22LR rifle match that pits the shooter's marksmanship against steel targets ranging from 1/4 inch to 6 inches, and anywhere from 25 to 100 yds. The difficulty lies in your shooting position.

There is a different course of fire each month that consists of 5 stages to test your skills. Compete against shooters, both provincially and nationally, that shoot the same 5 stages. You will have fun.

Optic-mounted firearms are preferred but not required.

Check out outlawrimfire.com for more information on this series and to preview the Course of Fire for the month.

Registration will be through PractiScore (practiscore.com)
