I have no clue and could care less. I'd drive halfway across the city or to St Albert to save $12? Not a chance.

Mutual Propane on the West end might be cheaper. Last summer I think it was 8 or 9 bucks there.

Costco 23 ave S Edm was $7-$8 ea a year back, I brought in 5 20’s and it cost me $33 total.
A few had a heel left so they were less.
Not sure how much their price would change tho.

I was there a couple days ago and yes 12 bucks if I recall. It was 8 or 9 last year. I have most of mine 30 lb so don't refill as often any more.

It was 62.9 cents per litre last Wednesday at Costco. About $9 for 20 lb, $13 for 30 lb.

Go early. I went to the south Edmonton Costco yesterday at 12:45 to fill a couple 30 pound tanks. There were 13 customers ahead of me and they all had multiple tanks except for one person. When my tanks were filled and I went inside to pay there were at least 8 people behind me. After doing my shopping I came out to get my tanks and there were 16 people in line.

My tanks were maybe 1/3 full so it was worth the wait to only pay for the propane I needed, but if your tanks are completely empty I might go somewhere else. It took me 2.5 hours to get my propane, do a quick shop and fill the truck with gas. Truck took $115 and it wasn't quite empty... ouch!

Here in GP, it's $30 for a 30 lb tank everywhere but costco, which is like $11. I won't drive across town for one tank, but I have like 8 tanks and save a sh@@ ton on 300 lb.

At Co-op in Calgary, it's $1.20 per liter but usually short line ups.

I have to agree, I have a propane guy 4 blocks away, never busy. Worth the extra couple bucks to me than having to drive to and deal with a busy Costco. If I had a bunch to fill, I just might put up with it lol.

I had 4 20lbs tanks filled for $22 a few weeks ago at the Okotoks Costco. Great Deal IMO

now Costco charges by weight: you will pay for whatever they put in. I just refilled an empty 20lbs can for $9ish and a second 20lbs (half full) for $4ish

Filled up two 20lb tanks today at Mutual Propane and will never go anywhere else. $ 12 per tank and in and out in roughly 4 minutes.

Glad I didn't have to drive to one of two uselessly located Costco's and stand in line waiting for the 300 pounders in spandex pulling carts loaded with baking and chocolate bars.

Any excuse not to go near a Wally World or Slobsco and I'll take it. Especially when they give excellent service.
