One thing you can always count on here is there is always someone who is quick to suggest a ban on anything that has a possibility of going wrong .. Let's call it the NIMBY Banifesto

I still pick up broken bottles when I am walking in the bush. I always think some poor animal will step on the glass and cut himself. I always wonder about guys who can sit on a ridge spotting and leave a beer bottle behind. You would think in this day and age people would not throw bottles out the car window but judging by the many people walking the ditches and collecting cans and bottles it must still happen a lot.
