Default How are upland bird numbers in your area?

Crops are starting to come down in southern Alberta. the upland numbers are looking good most of the land owners I've been talking to are reporting good numbers of Huns and Pheasants.
should be a good season!

The birds are definitely up in southern AB the past 2 years. I saw more pheasants on the last day of the season than I had on any other day. Here's hoping for another great year with the pups.

looks like a good crop of young Partridge this year in both numbers and size of chicks! Looking forward to the next couple months!
