Flip Your Mirrors in When Not Towing!
Seriously Dodge owners. What is with this new trend I'm seeing? Does it make your truck appear bigger? Help me understand. I do know it creates blind spots. They are for TOWING or when you have an oversized load in the box. Whats next, hanging nutz off the rear receiver.......wait a minute
BTW I own a 1 ton Dodge and use the mirrors as designed.

Cheaper
Than a lift kit, 35" mudders and a douche noisy exhaust.
But still be sure to display a 'metal mulisha' sticker so everyone in traffic knows you're a true trash tard...

I think these guys are lacking in a certain anatomical region, ( as well in the cranial area) hence the mirrors flipped up to appear like they're packing.

That being said. Who cares how someone has their mirrors? You making the truck payments?

I think I know why
Dodge in their infinite wisdom put a bubble mirror in the top left side obscuring the view for a quick lane check, when you shift your mirrors into trailer mode the mirror is on the bottom and is useful.
I have this setup on my truck and I hate it but at the same time I don't want to look like a dufus with my mirrors up so I live with it.

Must depend on the year, cause the convex mirror on my dodge is the whole left side, probably 4 inches or so wide. Find it works very well in either position. I set my 2nd driver memory with my mirrors how I like them when I tow, so now I just flip them up and push a button and I am ready to go. The flipped up mirrors thing is a major pet peeve of mine. My wife rolls her eyes at me everytime we see one, cause I can't stop myself from saying something about it.

Wow ..... cool.
Keeping them deployed all the time means you will be ready ..... good idea.

These are the same clowns whom buy diesels and don't tow with'em, let their diesel idol next to the front door of the coffee shop, jack up their trucks with 44" mudders yet drive 99% on the tarmac..
Sorry but you cannot fix stupid.

This is RV season and I flip my mirrors out and set them for towing for the next couple of months on my Dodge 3500 Cummins stock truck. After that I reset them back to regular, if that bothers you CoolPool deal with your OCD some place else. D.H.

If you set your mirrors up for towing, then set it as the second driver settings, they will go back to the exact same spot.
