Default Elk Hunting 224

Hi,
I got a cow elk draw for 224 and I've been having issues trying to find land to hunt on and finding elk.
So if anyone has any information on the area, that would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

My old stomping grounds. Access is tough in that area. Quite a few elk but if you don't know the landowners you'll have to do a lot of door knocking. Anywhere within an hour of a 'major' city gets pounded by hunters and that area is no different. Good luck

Try the Lloyd Creek natural area. Hunting is permitted. It's a steep valley just south of Hwy. 13 east of Twin lakes. I've seen a few elk running around there in the past. 2+ sections of good habitat.

Give admin from this website a call regarding possible permits. Their number is on the web page.
