Wink Large scale campsite hide and seek

So I swear I never grew up (and I'm not starting now haha). Anyway, I had this idea this past summer when a friend and I went random/backwood camping (best way to camp in my opinion!). I was hoping to get some input/ideas on it.

So here is the basic premise: there would be a few teams of people, say 5-6, probably 2-4 people per team. There would be designated boundaries and each team would also have their own designated area within those boundaries, just a few acres or so. There would be a central place for a cooking area, camp fire, bear hang, etc.

The first step of the game is to first set up your team's own tent. The goal is to hide it within your designated area, and attempt to camouflage your tent as well as you can. There would be a time limit of course. Then once the time limit is up, you need to search for all the other tents. The way to win would to be the first one to find all the other tents and make it back to the central area. Each tent would have flags or a message or something to prove that you've actually found it.

I think this would be an awesome game to play in a larger area, maybe everything within a 250-500 meter radius from the central area.

Everyone would be given a map with the general boundaries and the different teams designated areas marked, and a compass.

Thoughts, ideas? Think I'm crazy? ( I already know I am!)

Back in elementary school on a trip, we had a group of 40 of us playing flashlight tag, in the dark, in the woods near alexo campground, and it was awesome.

This would be best done in the mountains.
With any luck we would run into some giants.

We could declare open season on them.

I was thinking of somewhere like around Pembina/Nordegg/Brazeau.

I actually already geocache. I only use my phone and don't own a GPS. And where I camp often has limited to no cell reception haha.
