Default Hunter Host - Is there a time restriction?

Can a non resident Canadian hunter being hosted this fall hunt bear in Sept & Deer in November?. I don't see any time restriction in the regs that wouldn't allow for this.

Thanks.

Under Hunter Host in the regs.
"1.Go to a Fish and Wildlife Division office in person and initiate an application (including statutory declaration). Sign it and have your signature sworn. If your Non-resident Alien is not a relative, you must start this process by August 31 or February 28 as described above."

This is only for NRA's which is not what the op is asking.

Popcan, your buddy could hunt from August 25th until Nov 31st if he wanted.

Just like residents only a draw tag is wmu specific. If its general then it is whatever wmu allows general tag use for whatever's species sought after.

Just to clarify above is for NRC

As for NRA they are only allowed a limited list of species under general tags anything else must be done through an outfitter. And after the hunt list of emus hunted and days spent in wmu must be filled on form and given to closest F&W office.

I have hosted both.

There may be some limits for NRA, but not NRC as far as I understand.

No draws for NRA he wants to hunt moose with rifle outfitter. He bow hunts you can host under general moose tag in wmu that allows/ has general archery seasons for moose.

Wrong as he's referring to hosting a NRA

If it was a NRC then yes

2. A resident holder of an Antlered Moose Special Licence has the option of designating one eligible hunter, either a resident (adult or youth) or a non-resident (Canadian) (adult or youth), to be a partner on the Special Licence, thereby allowing the designated hunter to obtain a Special Antlered Moose Partner Licence. To qualify for a Partner Licence in a particular WMU, the non-resident (Canadian) must have been eligible to apply for the Special Licence in that WMU.
