Default Im looking for a place to shoot gophers

Hey there everyone I'm new to this forum, anyone have any ideas where a chap could find some friendly farmers who wouldn't mind If I picked off a few gophers anywhere between Calgary or Edmonton or a 2 hr drive radius of red deer I have finished off all the gophers on the places I used to go so now I'm looking for new places, if anyone could help me out that would be terrific,
I close gates I leave things as they were, I only shoot when I know where the bullet goes "responsible" shooting and if the landowners has any rules I'm happy to follow them,

Just get out knocking on doors! I found a few places that will let you on if you show up in person and have a friendly chat with the farmer!

Where would be good locations to ask around I haven't seen much for gophers this yr, they seem rather scarce where I have inquired

I do believe I have found an area by Ponoka that has a promising population of gophers at large, any other districts out there with high concentrations of the critters? that anyone might be willing to devolve the location too, I'm open to anything but for the moment have found something for now

How far north can you find gophers? I don't hear much talk of them around these parts.

Seems the best chance of doing battle with hordes of gopher-cong is to get away from boreal forest and out onto the prairie.

From Whitecourt I'd just head down towards Edm and keep going south or east till you see the crafty little devils popping out of their spider holes.

Bring lots of ammo...you don't want those little buggers to get the drop on you with an empty rifle....
