Heading to christina lake tom afternoon for a week. Will be spending lots of time fishing. i have never been there and am not sure what to expect. we have a boat. Just wondering if anyone knows the lake? what type of fish are in there besides rainbows and bass? would be cool to find out what there biting on mostly? also wondering if i should bring the down riggers or not? will be flyfishing spin fishing and maybe down rigging. i have no idea how deep or big the lake is. so any info would be great. also should have internet access so should be able to check the form a few time and post some pics if i get lucky.
Havent been in a few years....busy lake, babes in bikinis everywhere. Its like the Desert there.

Lots of bass with red eyes, i think they were Rock Bass
Old timer told me there is good Koke fishing.
Caught a few bass on rubber worms.
Were their for a wedding so boat didnt get much fish time, was dragging a tube with the other 3 million other pleasure crafts on the water.
Snuck out one evening for a great time on the Kettle River for some flyfishing.

nice lake, lots of people, but not too many.
Never fished there, but most of the boats are towing something and blaring something less appealing.
Nearby rivers would be a better bet fishwise, but I'd try trolling w/ downrigger, probably near the beaches - seriously tho, warmest lake in canada in the summer, so your targets are deep in the cooler water... you'll catch something...
lots of s.m. bass and sunfish ( i think their pumkinseeds ) I've only fished for those 2 species because good action for the kids. Slip bobbers,small jigs tipped with a piece of worm or maggot. Fish any of the beaches around the lake at the drop offs and you'll get action.
I've seen trout darting around and I believe that theres kokanee as well.
I've seen guys down rigging out in the middle near the south end but not sure what they were targeting.
