Default Thank you road hunters.

Dear AOF, just got back from hunting the Peace. What a trip, lots of elk, moose and deer ended up in our hanging tree. Everyone tagged out and had a blast. However I at least want to thank the selfless many that went out of their way to assist us in bagging game. The road hunters in the Peace are #1.
Thanks for outfitting your truck with a 6" lift, you did a wicked job packing down the back roads so I could get back to camp in record time to gather assistance to retrieve my elk. Thank you for your 6" dual exhaust, the moose never left the swamp but stayed there, 100yards from where we were hiding too. Thanks for not getting out of your truck as your brand new jacket and boots and gloves and laser range finder and your new Canadian Tire pants would have scared my dual brow tine 6by5 white tail into the next county. Plus you also avoided the risk of falling getting in and out of your jacked F350. Thank you for leaving your rarely used quad in the back of your truck to assist you in getting good, safe traction on the road plus leaving me to walk or ride my quad after lunch in peace. Being this close to xmas lets always remember those that make our hunts a success however that may be. Thank you landowners, thanks to that drunk as hell old guy who helped me recover my tail gate and tool chest (another story). Thank you camp mates for forgiving my mental melt down the other day. Most of all, THANK YOU road warriors, please stay put, keep herding the game where I want it and stop by the camp assuming your Toyo M/T tires can get u there. Beers on me boys..

Thumbs up

Awesome when you get back off the truck paths, let them push the critters to you. Use to sit about a klick or so off a well travelled road on the back side of a hill facing away from the road. Sun starts to rise, critters wisen up, filter past me due to the truck pressure and I get to pick my next meal, so ya thanks heater hunters...

These same fellas usually help me out every year as well. It's nice of them to leave all the elk bedding areas to me and the handful of others who get out of their truck or off their quads.

I agree in giving credit where it is due.
