Default Wainwright Cow Moose - BP Success

Took my daughter out for cow moose with a muzzle loader. We saw quite a bit of game with a number of animals playing the "you can't see me" game.

A few pic's from day 2 when we were just driving around taking pictures.

We watched this bull for about 10 minutes on day 1. It was -26C and the frost with back lighting makes for a good series of shots.

Another shot of the bull

We looked at 7 different moose that morning, two of which were cows. We managed to get her cow a little later that day with one that stuck around long enough to get set up for. But it ended up being a typical moose that walked off about 300 yds downhill, further into the trees after the shot. It is a nice sized dry cow that was with a mid sized bull

Three and half hours to dress out, bag, skid through the trees back to the truck, load and then head into town for dinner and a beer. Really nice getting out with the kids (as adults now) this year. Even when they remind you that you have enough rope to use the truck to skid the animal out.

Great pictures, Thanks for posting. Been along time since I've seen a sharptail. At least I hope that's what it is. LOL.
