supposed to head out at 07:00, set the alarm fr 06:00, but I am usually up about 05:00 anyway.
so, today I got up at 04:00??!! This is CRAP!
No wonder I had no use for watches on the trapline, go by the danged daylight hours period!
At least we had some snow for still hunting and tracking this morning!

Needs to be gone, serves absolutely no purpose. I hate it both ways. I'd rather have what little daylight we get in the evening this time of year.

No one explained to the horses that they need to change their clocks. They are standing at the fence like "it's breakfast time." They are not going to believe me if I try to tell them they are an hour early.

But think of the children who live on the North pole.
If we didn't have daylight savings time, they wouldn't see the sun rise until their 25th birthday.

(I think that was the argument everyone was using against scrapping the time change)

Try feeding 9000 cattle one hour later. That’s what I’m doing

It’s not good for them to be hungry.

At some point this foolishness will stop and we'll wonder why we ever did it in the first place?

Doug Ford said Ontario will drop DST if quebek and NY State do. Quebek has plans to introduce a bill eliminating DST so if that passes maybe there's hope.

Didn't Alberta already have a vote on this and we voted to keep it? As I recall places like Corus radio went full out to retain DST

It’s times like this I appreciate living in a state that doesn’t observe DST.

I too use to hate it.

Meh... An hour adjustment to things has never bothered my internal clock and I adapt almost immediately. I like lighter mornings more than evenings this time of year so I must go against the grain and say I appreciate DST.
