Default boat and sportsman show deals?

I will be buying a fishing boat this spring and am wondering if it is worth dealing on a boat at the show or negotiating a deal at the dealerships.

Please let me know your thoughts and the rational behind them.

Thank you.

With the markets and the economy looking at a downturn I wouldn’t be in a rush.
There are going to be lots of new boats to choose from just sitting at the dealers this spring. And low financing rates as well if that’s the way you are going.
I have already seen some prices on new boats dropped by $15,000 in the US.
I think it’s going to be a buyers market for toys.

I’ll bet the exhibitors wished the show was 2 months ago.
Could be a record low of sales, or maybe compare Calg sales to the Edm show.

Watch and buy private, there are lots of unemployed people out there and the first thing that goes is their toys, there will be some sweet deals on boats, motor cycles, and ATV's this spring.

With the economy here slowing, companies may be liquidating inventory as fast as possible so buying new now may not be as bad as it normally is.

There are some 2018 and 2019 models in inventory at quite a few dealers still, so if you are considering new I would think there are some deals to be had.
