Used to be a group of folks that shot tradional black powder on a property, just South of Tomahawk, it has been at least 15 years since much went on there.
The fellow who owned the land was a gunsmith or the like, who specialized in BP stuff.
I had heard from one of the fella's from CHAS at one of the meetings, I heard it mentioned and figured on trying to find it. He had said that a smaller range but not as often crowded like Genesee can get.
The Tomahawk rendezvous was held at Tim Losey's place for years.
it was open to all, but eventually went by invitation only due to more than a few issues, one of them the shear number of entrants!
It was considered the best shoot in Alberta at the time, often drawing the best shooters from B.C., Alberta, and Manitoba.....
