Default May long at chin

Just wondering if anyone else is planning on fishing Chin for the May long weekend. Hopeful the new boat will be here and we plan on doing some pre tournament fishing. Would be fun to get together and have some drinks.

There is a good chance I will be fishing at least one of the days.

I wouldn't mind camping down there but with very few spots available I am thinking it will fill up pretty quick and I need to save whatever money I have for tourney weekends.

That is probably Stafford that you are looking at if it is just east of Lethbridge. Chin dumps into stafford on the east end.

If you want to get to the park area/boat launch you will have to head straight south of Taber on highway 36 or go around the south end and come north on highway 36.

Fished a tournament there a few years back, We stayed in town, nice campsite, and lots of fish, unfortunately mostly undersize for us.

What year were those pictures from?

Conor's old stratos was a rocket on water. That thing flew when he would open it up.

I think geoff's lund in the second last picture is up for sale this year. I am pretty sure it was his ad. that was on kijiji not so long ago.

I recognize a few of the other boats in those pictures also.

Oh ok.

I would have been there that year. Looks like some really nice weather compared to what we have seen there the past couple years.
