Default Genesse natural area

So the wife wants to take the kids out to the woods for some exploring and enjoying the outdoors.
We've walked some trails in elk island and wagner natural area but i was looking for something a little more natural and less point A- point B.

Im just wondering if its an ok area to go there?
Or is it all swampy or super dense?

Thanks guys

Not sure Genesee qualifies as more Natural?
There are many places without groomed trails where children and adults alike can experience Mother Nature. Maybe look up some Ducks Unlimited land in your area, or just hit some bush on crown land, maybe have an adventure and find a hidden beaver pond, always lots of life around wetlands to watch.
Sometimes the less planning the better the adventure! Good luck and have fun!

May I suggest blackfoot-cooking lake provincial natural rec. area? Hundreds (thousands?) of groomed trails through some very pretty, natural country.
