Default Hunting Camp On Fire!!!

Heading to East Kootenay Jaffery area for bow camp tomorrow am - Yahoo! Three kids, wife and a truck load of gear. Couldn't be happier. Know the area from three years hunting in the same local. Got my honey spots. Know some great kid friendly trails.

Truck breaks down this morning. Mmmmm. Keep cool, get it fixed, Another Yahoo!

Check forest conditions on gov website - it would be nice to have a camp fire - low and behold there's a camp fire for everyone - 3000 acres right in the middle of my hunting area. Seems like the lightening struck the outhouse I built last year. Not so Yahoo. More like Ooohay.

Where to go next without a jot of intel, three kids and a wife? Do they allow bows is Disney?

Where is this area with the fire? I'm not aware of any near there and I'm not seeing any listed on the site for that immediate area. The only one I know of was earlier this summer. You're probably still good to go.

That sucks Bob, sorry I can't help you out with travel advise, but I do have experience in construction. Maybe don't build such a tall outhouse next time!!!

Kidding I'm not familiar with the errant your hunting, but the animals have to go somewhere. For safety reasons I'd pick a spot up wind to scout out this year.
