Default Adding a Fighting Butt to a Single Hand Rod

Other than the usual removing the butt cap, finding a piece of another blank to fit in, void your warranty type of deal, does anyone know of any way to add a fighting butt to a single hand rod? Maybe even some way to just have a removable fighting butt that clamps / grips onto the back of your reel seat?

I use these rubber butt caps, simple, fit very snug and are comfortable against the body when fighting fish.
