Default Coal lake perch

Have bin out a few times this March and caught a really nice jumbo perch but it seemed like it was just pure luck. Have not bin able to lactate anymore. With all the fishing pressure and pike bein able to keep at any size makes me wonder if the jumbos are slowly making there way back. Just curious if anybody else has had some luck with perch out there this year or was the one I got just fate. Lol

Lived in camrose until 2020.
Only place I found them was by that water station halfway down the lake on the east side. And only once.
Before I moved there(2007), there were great big jumbos caught. Or so they say.

The lake is big enough that they should still be in there and with live scope and fishing pressure I’m sure there guys on them out there but you know how it is with perch everybody zips there lips. I was on the north end where I got the nice one the other day

Was out again chasing the elusive jumbo. Found a couple but was only able to ice one. Well worth it tho a nice 12 inch jumbo.. north end tugsten and meal worms 8 ft water.
