I passed through Fox on Thursday. There's less than a foot of snow. It was -9 and raining at the time. With these warmer temps I'm guessing the roads will be their usual brutal selves.

Just got back from little smoky. Had about a foot of snow but it rained last night and all afternoon today. Shes getting sloppy. If the weather stays like this lots should melt.

I have been hunting slightly south of there all week....the hot temps and rain have wreaked havok on the side/lease roads....total skating rinks. Walking in the bush is brutal....crunchy and icy as all heck.

We went to go and check a spot in windfall and turn around at Kilometer 8...roads were way to icy and could only go about 40-50km.

BE CAREFUL....if you have chains, bring them. Not trying to freak you out but just be prepared and leave lots of time.

I am in Whitecourt right now...I am heading out hunting tomorrow and heading back to Edmonton late morning. If I remember I will give you a road/conditions report when I head out.

Apparently upwards of 10cm today, meh it's winter, atleast my truck is covered so I can work on it still without shoveling snow off it

There is about 3 inches on the base right now.

The way people are driving...I'd consider avoiding main arteries and breaking trail on the side roads to be a better option.

St. Albert RCMP are stopping cars on the Trail if they do not have snow tires... too many not making it up the hill from the river valley.

This is shot looking out my back door.
I drive for a living and I think I've seen about 40 accidents so far.
