Default September pics.

September was a bit of a blur, I didn't get as much fishing in as I would have liked and definitely wasn't taking as many photo's, but here are a few. The highlight of the month hands down was that my wife, one day out of the blue, picked up the fly-rod at the Little Smokey. Within minutes and with just a couple of pointers she was casting and catching fish. I am hopeful that we can enjoy this great sport together often in the future. We may have created a monster.....as she has been packed up and ready to go by Thursday for the last couple of weekend trips.

A shot from that first day;

Her first fish on the dry, a nice fiesty 'bow. We have ordered her some waders in her size, so she won't have to wear my old "extra's" anymore ; ) .

Awesome pics, Ayr.

Yup, we're lucky to have wives that love to fish!

What kind of boat was that in the photo? Looks bigger than a canoe?

I'm not sure, we took the photo from the road, it may be a rental boat through one of the local fishing outfits. Maybe an older freighter canoe, with a flat back for a transom mounted motor?
