Default 6.8spc for deer?

Hey everyone just wondering if anyone has used this cartridge to take down a deer? I know we're limited to only a few rifles in this caliber that isn't restricted. But yeah any experiences?

Lotsa deer have been harvested with a lot of lesser cartridges.

Just watch your bullet construction.

I believe the 6.8spc is a .277 caliber so same thing the .270win. Its gaining popularity as a good hog hunting round. Pretty sure it would do well with deer.

Use the 85, Barnes or E-tip or either of the accubonds and you are good to go. Its a hard hitting little round that will have no problems hitting the vitals of a deer so long as you keep it reasonable.
