Question My Semi Auto won't unload by hand...

I have an older Cooey Model 64a Semi-Auto .22
My rifle loads, ejects, and reloads fine from the clip while firing, but I shot a squirrel with it the other day, I had more shells in the clip than I needed. So after I made the shot, I pulled out the clip, manually pulled the bolt back to unload the loaded round, and the loaded round pdid not come out. I had to leave the clip out and fire the last round to get it to eject the empty shell.
Any help would be great. Thanks.

Clean the bolt face and the extractor. It isn't griping the rim well enough due to being too dirty. (Rim gets larger and flatter after the shell is fired and forces the rim into the groove.)

Take the barrel off and clean the chamber, soak all the internals make sure there's no crud under the extractor hook. Good for another season

While growing I wore out two of these after 10,000 rounds or so they the sear wears out and they go full auto for a few rounds until the extractor breaks.
All they need is good cleaning once a year.

Make sure the extractor is still there, I lost/ broke one of mine.
Bat's vid link shows it on the bolt face, the hook, but the guy doesn't refer to it.
WGP has them for $21, but they are replacements, not as good as the originals.
They can break while installing them, a bit of manoeuvring and bending is required, careful.
