Sure glad that you're happy there bud!

Now if you are looking for a good investment come March, start building ice auger extensions. With the little snow cover we have, the ice will be wicked thick in no time.

You won't be able to keep up with the demand!!!

I fondly remember standing on a milk crate to start drilling with my custom 14 inch extension bar to get through at Cutbank at Lesser Slave. That poor Jiffy Auger easily cut a kilometer of ice that year.

Funny part was the Factory Jiffy extension bars on other friends' augers did not get through in alot of the holes they drilled that trip.

I had to finish off a number of holes for the other guys I was fishing with.

Yes I'll be picking up an extension for sure. There was already 15"-22" of ice on the lakes I've been fishing prior to this cold snap. I'm only happy in that it's going to make truck travel available on Cold Lake.

Well last time I was out was on the 22nd and the small lake I have been fishing for trout had a measured 13"-15" ice. Today I measured ice from 22"-24". Thats a 7"-9" gain in 6 days!
