Default Adjustable comb on Browning BT-99

Anyone know of a good gunsmith to install a adjustable comb on a Browning
BT-99 trapgun? Thanks.

Vic Tomlinson did a few for me, he is located in Ontario. Les Meyers in Calgary, is another option..

You can achieve a similar effect by putting on an adjustable recoil pad. I have 2 bt99's with them. A lot cheaper than installing a adj. comb

An adjustable recoil pad can help with fit, but if you need more drop at comb, an adjustable recoil pad won't achieve that.

The recoil pads I am speaking of adjust up or down thus raising or lowering the comb. Not as good as an adj. comb. That's why I said it would have a similar effect, as opposed to a full modification of the stock.

I know they move up or down, but they don't change the measurement between the top of the comb, and the rib, so if the drop at comb is wrong, they won't resolve that issue. I needed more drop at comb, so I went with an adjustable comb. One of my shotguns did come with a Gracoil pad, and that was helpful to adjust Lop.

I get what you are saying. I was just trying to point out that maybe a small adjustment may be all that is needed. It was for me. A 1/16 inch adjustment at the comb results in a 1 1/2 inch movement at thirty yards. Lots of opinions on shotgun fit. Best to figure out what works for you. On one of my 99's a small drop of the pad resulted in my cheek fitting the comb better thus giving a better and more consistent fit and bead orientation.
