Default Lead shot

Is there anyone local in Alberta that sells lead shot? I know I could order some online, but shipping could be expensive. Thanks

Allan Day sells lead shot and other shotgun loading components through Claybird Shooting Supplies. He is based in Carstairs, and his prices are competitive.

Western Metals carries lead shot in 20 lb. bags. Orders can be picked up at Straight Shooters in the NE.

Last time I looked at western metal's shot, they were only 20lb bags.
(And substantially more expensive that 25lb bags in carstairs...)

I just looked at the Western Metal site, $90 for 20lbs is significantly more than I have ever seen 25lb bags listed at elsewhere. No mention of brand either. I see that Hummason increased their prices by $4/bag, to $59, so I expect to pay around $70/bag from Allan Day.

Yeah, that is quite the price difference. $70 seems quite reasonable as I’m sure shipping from Ontario would be pretty pricey.
