Default Best Hotel Pool ED or West Edmonton

Hey guys, the Mrs and I plan to take the grandkids (8-12) to ED next month and we would like to find a hotel with a really cool pool and waterslide. We don't want to take them to the waterpark in the mall though.

To clarify, it is really about the pool, not the hotel. Google tells me who has pools and rates hotels, but not much help rating the pools themselves.

If you have a better suggestion than the west end, I am all ears. The Mrs likes Kingsway better anyhow.

Thanks in advance.

Well we have went may times when our kid was that age.

Best Western Plus South Edmonton. Not far from Southgate and only 20 min from WEM with the Henday.

Saltwater pool with a water slide. The rates were always reasonable.

I’d consider staying in spruce grove and take them to the community rec Center. It has a terrific pool.

Thanks for that.

My daughter live in Spruce Grove, I'll have to ask her about it.

Water slide or slides can’t recall if it’s one or two there. Then a spray park area. High and low diving boards. Rope swing. It’s really good. We take our kids out there to swim. Not Edmonton.

The Ramada on calgary trail used to have a big Waterpark.
Not sure if that's still a thing.
