Talking marie/moose lake whitefish

Im determined not to have to drive 3 hours to find a darn whitefish. I think that I am OBSESSED with finding whitefish in the lac la biche to cold lake area. I have read threads on moose lake, seen little on marie lake but have herd there are lots of whites there. any assistance would make me a very happy camper. I am easily pleased but dont tell my wife that! lol

Was at Moose Lake two Sundays ago, pulled out two whites. We were using brass wire worms with maggots in about 15' of water. Both were released.

Lots of tapeworm cysts in the Whites / Tulibee up in that area. Cook your meat well.

There are whites in Muriel, But i havent had or heard of anyone haveing luck finding them, but have heard of people getting a fair bit of luck with walleye on the southeastern shore line
Take Caution when drilling on this lake, its been known to stay really shallow
And i have personally seen a few auger blades chewed up in the mud and sand,

Marie does have lots of fairly easily caght whitefish, but they do have lots of cysts as well, muriel is quite low. Whites in Moose are tough to catch, but come big and clean, tulibee in moose are 2 to 3 lbs easily caught but have cysts.

Muriel has walleye? I thought that lake was void of all life. On a previous thread, i believe it was last year someone was saying the whites were biting non stop over 30 a day. Has anyone bin on muriel this year?
