Default Doggy school

Hi everyone,
I was fortunate enough to get some good puddle duck hunting in this year, and did quite well. I don't have a boat, but did buy a little dinghy for the job, and worked for what I needed it for. Now, I have taken the next step and we have adopted a beautiful 8 week old Chesapeake Bay retriever. To my knowledge in dealing with the owners, the parents come from hunting lines, and they do use one of the parents for retrieving. Of course, no papers, but from what I have read, Chesapeake's are suppose to be quite the retriever.

So...I am looking for a club that works in waterfowl retrieval. I will work with her as well, but would like to get some experts in the field doing some training and teaching me as well what to do.

I read a few previous posts and am trying to give as much information as possible. My goal would be to have her retrieve waterfowl as we set up from slough to slough or from a Riverbank set up. I may try her on grouse, but prefer ducks. This would hopefully keep me out of the dinghy lol.

I am situated in the High Level area. Anyone with any information would be greatly appreciated.
