1997 evinrude 35hp jet outboard 2 stroke

I bought a jon boat and this motor was on it but I replaced it with a new 4 stroke. Full disclosure I've never heard this motor run but the guy I bought it from said it wasn't used much and it ran great. I am totally open to starting it and checking compression if someone wants to. Comes with controls . Electric start but no power trim
