Can anyone recommend a facility for covered (cold) winter boat storage in the Edmonton (or north of Edmonton)? Hoping to keep it covered and not out in the elements.
Thanks
Just my greedy mined turning wheels to make a buck $$. A person could set up a nice business storing boats, just like trailers. If you have a unused equipment or hay shed could start a nice business, especially if near a good lake.
Does anyone in Alberta shrink wrap their boats for winter like you see in bc? Very common in bc have not seen it a lot in Alberta but I’m sure it’s popular?

I know Dandy used to do this but I wouldn't trust these guys too far. I understand you can buy the film yourself and shrink wrap it using a hair dryer (never tried it though).
I'd be concerned about trapped moisture causing mold. wouldn't be a concern in winter when frozen solid but in spring & fall the thermal cycling would definitely trap moisture.

They use vents to allow circulation, and prevent mold.

Send me a pm. I’m just outside of Boyle and I have a couple spots open in a lien too on the shop. Possibly a spot or 2 open in my shop, if anyone doesn’t return this year.
